PoE Touchscreen
929 Fingertrax + G/ST & /SU
A powerful terminal integrating
Fingerprint Recognition 1:N and 1:1
for Access Control, Time & Attendance
and other AIDC applications
Flexible architecture
FingerTRAX terminals have the possibility of creating several different types
of configurations and applications using fingerprint verification/ identification
in different types of transactions, offline, online, or semi-online.
High security Access Control and Reliable Time & Attendance
• User's card reading or PIN entry have to be confirmed by fingerprint
recognition (1:1 verification mode) or just the finger can be used for
the identification (1:N);
• user identity fully guaranteed in 1:1 mode;
• scarred fingers don’t affect fingerprint recognition.
Protection of personal data
• No fingerprint images are handled or stored inside FingerTRAX+G;
• during the enrollment phase the fingerprints features are extracted and
stored as templates and they are associated with the user's personal code;
• it is then possible to transfer the templates to all other FingerTRAX+G
terminals;
• all transactions take place in such a way as to protect individual privacy.
Extended functions
The TRAX+G based authorization list, together with the integrated fingerprint
reader, ensure that only an authorized person can pass through.
• FingerTRAX/ST biometric module can verify the user identity by fingerprint
(1:1 verification) after entering the personal code by card reading or
manual typing.
• FingerTRAX/ST has also the possibility of the “shortcode” mode, for
avoiding card reading or manual entering of long personal codes… just
press two keys and put your finger!
• FingerTRAX/SU is equipped with a very powerful biometric engine capable
of identifying 1:N with 1000 users, and storing up to 9500 templates in
various modes.
• With both versions, it is possible to specify a list of user codes for whom
fingerprint is not requested. For each of them, it is possible to specify card
reading or manual entering.
• FingerTRAX/ST has the possibility of specifying a random probability for
fingerprint verification request. It can be useful to speed up operations
on peek time, when group of users want to clock-in/out, and still the
deterrent of true identity is needed.
The TRAX+G family
Programmable Terminals with integrated
Ethernet interface for Data Collection, Time & Attendance and
Access Control Recording
Also with Analog Modem,
GSM/GPRS or
WLAN 802.11B versions
Easy to use TRAX+G terminals meet the growing demand for easy
interfacing to existing LAN’s or WAN’s, which are nowadays
considered standard, both, in the industrial sector and in all office applications.
Main Features
Integrated Ethernet/IP Interface with P.O.E (Power over Ethernet)
support. Allows the simplest wired type installations.
• GSM/GPRS version allows communications via GSM data sessions, or
in/out SMS or, upgrade upon request, GPRS with TCP/IP pocket data
transmissions.
• WLAN 802.11b version allows using TRAX+G in environments with
WiFi Internet coverage.
• Internal magnetic, barcode or proximity (RFID) card readers.
Wide range of technologies:
• 125 KHz r/o versions, EM4102 comp. or HID
• 13.56 MHz R&W for ISO 14443A/B tags (e.g. Mifare and others), or
read-only ISO15693
• LEGIC® for prime proprietary and advant ISO 15693/14443A cards.
• Analog Modem version (speed: nominal 19200bps, 38400 compressed)
provides communication convenience).
• Time & Attendance and Access Control firmware included.
• Script interpreter for customized data collection procedures.
• Compact and elegant design, appreciated when space saving is
important.
• Wall or table mount. Optional Floor Stand allows kiosk-type
installation.
• Robust, splash/dust proof ABS casing, IP65 (except for barcode
version). Not inflammable casing, ABS-V0 upon request. Aluminum
connectors cover and wall support.
• Wide configurability with 99 parameters both from the keyboard
and communication channels.
• File system based memory allocation.
• Off-line/On-Line or both. Autonomous mode using its standard FW
or user defined script procedures or On-line real time operation under
the control of the host computer. If the host does not reply within a userdefined
time limit, the terminal automatically goes into off-line mode.
• Automatic programmable shut-down in the event of a power
supply failure. The terminal can retain its data for two months. The battery
ensures up to 6 hours working time (magnetic reader versions).
X-Pocket
Pocket reader for mobile data collection applications
This system for identifying the operator, the workplace or the activity being performed works by
remotely reading the code of a simple and economic RFID TAG.
Depending on the field of application, the shape, size and substance of the Tags (or transponders) can
differ (badge, label, plastic disk etc.).
Functional Characteristics
Ergonomic design and reduced size
XPOCKET is light and ergonomic, fitting comfortably in the palm of one hand. Attached to a cord, it
can even be worn around the neck.
Shock resistant
XPOCKET may be small, but it is extremely robust since the materials used enable it to resist knocks
and survive being dropped. This device is ready for use in dirty, contaminated and generally “hostile”
environments (such as construction sites). In this regard, the use of RFID technology is also highly
advantageous. The Tags are in fact made for use under difficult and challenging conditions (e.g. thermic,
chemical and mechanical shocks). In short, XPOCKET is a survivor.
All functions on three keys
The new XPOCKET reader is so simple to use that even non-experts learn easily. Three rubber keys
provide rapid access to all functions: activate the RFID reader and, if necessary, make selections from
the available menu options.
When not in use, XPOCKET switches off automatically after a few seconds.
Latest-generation display
Messages are displayed on a back-lit LCD graphics display. This technology means that the reader
can be used under any lighting conditions, making clear information available immediately.
Bluetooth or USB interface for data transfer
Capturing transaction data and transferring it from XPOCKET to other equipment is really easy. Every
XPOCKET reader can be recognised automatically by PCs or XPOCKETs equipped with Bluetooth or
USB interfaces, as well as by the latest generation of Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones. Using special
software for the download of data, this means that all the information gathered can be imported in
an encrypted and secure manner.
Rechargeable, long-life batteries
The batteries used by XPOCKET are very easy to recharge. Simply connect the XPOCKET to a USB
port or to the plug-in battery charger supplied with the device. The use of long-life batteries means
that the XPOCKET remains charged for many months.
Memory capacity
The Flash Memory inside the XPOCKET can store about 16,000 transactions, thus ensuring that the
data collected is kept safely until it can be transferred.
